There are a variety of character traits that we exhibit from day to day. We need to be careful to allow only those things which are good and pure and holy to shine through to those around us.
The Object
12 Potatoes Dressed Up
This object lesson was prompted by my Mr. Potato Head toys and is presented as a collection of “taters” that exhibit character traits much like humans. I purchased some fake potatoes from an on-line imitation food merchant. I have them dressed in various ways to imitate the character trait that they represent. I usually present them by name and explain what each is like, good and bad. I have a support verse from Scripture to go with each one.
